Hi Phyllis,

I have just updated the site permissions so that editor members (those allowed to create and maintain library pages) can now see how many times each page has been viewed. You will be able to see this displayed at the bottom of each library page.

Thanks for your question/feature suggestion!

I sent in a request to Rob separately, but just to reiterate - we're going to need a reporting mechanism that summarises this bottom of the page information for all pages in whole directory areas/sub-directories on the library. The monthly reports will have to be automatically generated at the start of each month.

So each service manager who has to prepare a monthly web site hits report will need a report for all pages in their respective areas. E.g.Phylis will need a report for Advisory Services/Video Technology advisory Service and I will one for MCAS and one for Janet Service Documentation/eduroam.

At present we are reporting unique page hits, ie we only count one hit if a user revisits the same page multiple times during the month.

Cheers,
Ed

Ed,

We will be providing google analytics reports as we previously did. Please email your requirements to community@ja.net.

Obviously though as uses can opt out of cookies (google analytics) results will be varying.
