Revoke a certificate

Revoking a Certificate
Sectigo Certificate Manager 2024
How to: Revoke a Certificate
You may need to revoke a certificate for the following reasons:
- Certificate is no longer needed
- Certificate/private key has been compromised
- Certificate was created for testing purposes
- Certificate was requested in error
If you revoke a certificate within 14 days of it issuing, then this will not count as a billable certificate.
You can revoke a certificate by logging into the Sectigo Portal > Certificates > Select the certificate you would like to revoke > Select the revoke button and follow the onscreen step.
Once revoked, this certificate will immediately stop working.
If you have any issues or questions regarding revoking certificates, please email certificates@jisc.ac.uk for assistance.
