Once these details have been added, you will need to create your EV Trust Anchor Certificate. All domains needed in an EV Anchor must be validated before making the request. Only fully qualified domains need to be included in the EV Anchor e.g. jisc.ac.uk, you do not need to add Sub-Domains. For the full written step by step, please see section 7.2.2. in the Quick Start Guide or you can check out our Video.
Once your EV Anchor is approved, you can request EV Certificates. This process can take up to 72 hours to be approved by Sectigo. EV Anchors are currently valid for a year. When the expiry is due, you will need to request a new EV Anchor (Unfortunately, you cannot renew the same EV Anchor certificate).
