NHS Information Governance Toolkit Workshop

This workshop aims to promote the NHS IG Toolkit as an enabling security tool that ensures all research groups handle information securely, assuring, confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. (agreed aim from the NHS-HE Information Governance Working Group). The IGT has become a requirement for s.251 requests for NHS data without patient consent. It is also a recognised way of demonstrating good IG practice to NHS partners.

There is a growing list of departments achieving the IGT e.g. as listed at .
